The Windshield survey is one way to get a sense of a community. By observing and taking note of its characteristics you can better understand either the community in general or a specific condition or aspect of it.
As a real estate broker and economic development professional I am curious on how our community housing stock is doing. I was particularly interested in new Single family homes currently being built in Miami Springs.
Since it is always nice to drive or bike around Miami Springs, this week I decided to take a windshield survey to see how many NEW houses are currently under construction.
Based on this unscientific method I observed that 13 new houses are currently being constructed or completed this year.
